About Me

I lifetime of loving animals and nature combined with years of passion for photography, shaped my work to what you see today.

I head someone say once, why would they donate to a whale fund when they had never even seen a whale. At that moment, I felt it was my job to make sure they do. The more you see something, the more you love it and the more you love it, the more you want to protect.

I realize not everyone has the opportunity to watch a baby loon ride on it’s mama’s back, an elephant walk the African plain or a snail drink water out of the lake from the edge of floating stick. But I hope by sharing these images, they connect with these moments and will to fight to keep the nature that feeds and protects our wildlife.

I tirelessly work to show others about the loving nature and value of all wildlife species. And throughout my career, I have enjoyed and made an effort to share my knowledge with future generations of photographers. I love the idea of as many photographers as possible raising awareness on endangered species and environments to the public.

My signature subjects are birds, taken in my kayak around Tennessee. But, through out my career, I have taking pictures of a huge diversity of animal species from all corners of the globe.

I gave up my full-time career as an educator r in order to return to her true passion; a combination wildlife & nature conservation and fine art photography. I have now worked in several countries, including United States, Italy, South Africa, and Switzerland.

I still find time to teach when I’m home; a mixture of photography and video production skills.
